Greetings readers.

My name is Emani Mone and I am the Owner and Head Esthetician at Beauty Strike. March 1st launched our newest and most coveted body treatment, Beauty Sweat. Beauty Sweat is a body treatment you have to experience to understand. My first time trying a Beauty Sweat I did not know what to expect, I thought I was in it to sweat water weight out and to just get an overall slimmer frame. Being slim is not my life goal, however last year I gained an upward of 20+ pounds and I did not feel comfortable in my own skin. I am a 5-foot woman and I feel like I did not hold that weight right at all so of course I went back to the gym and honestly my body felt like I was in a car crash. Also, yes I have been in a car crash so I actually know how that feels. So when I had the chance to try a similar service from a neighboring spa I jumped on it. At first I was like I need to get out of here this feels hot and weird and uncomfortable. But, then I realized I was doing something to better myself inside and most of the time that does not feel comfortable. Being a serial competitor with myself I began testing myself in time intervals if you can last this long you're strong and so on this started after the 30 minute mark because I honestly did not feel anything until then. Towards the end I felt really happy with myself I felt like I accomplished a goal as well as I immediately felt lighter and felt like I could literally run a mile as soon as I got up. I slept better that night and in conjunction to working out doing a Beauty Sweat 3 times a week I lost a healthy 8 pounds in the span of 6 weeks which makes me feel so good about myself. After experiencing post-birth control body and the stress of opening a new business in which I cater to people it felt really good to give back to myself with this special treatment. 


The Skinny

Beauty Sweat is an infrared sauna bed which uses indirect heat to cause your body to sweat or use thermoregulation. Your body works hard to sweat which is why you use so much energy to do so in return you burn massive amounts of calories. 

A typical 55-minute sweat session burns about 800-1600 calories
